Healthy Lemon Chicken Recipe. Because everyone loves chick

Some people don’t know that you can cook chicken and on top of that add lemon thus coming up with a very healthy delicacy. Well, such a simple recipe should be shared to the world so as to spread the wonderful news. This is just a quick, easy and very delicious meal which requires just a few spices. This recipe is the best and perfect way of using excess lemon to create a superb, outstanding and splendid meal.

Ingredients include the following

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Half a teaspoon of pepper
  • 4 boned and skinned chicken breasts
  • Garnish lemon slices
  • Quarter cup of lemon juice
  • Quarter cup of chicken broth
  • Quarter cup of chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • Half a cup of all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 lemon slices

Preparation (approximately thirty minutes)

1. Cut both the chicken breasts into two equal halves. Then place the chicken in between 2 sheets of plastic wrap. Then flatten to a thickness of a quarter inch by use of a rolling pin .Then sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper. Slowly scour the chicken into the all-purpose flour and shake off the excess amounts.

2. Melt one tablespoon of both butter and oil into a large skillet which is nonstick over a medium-high heat. Then proceed and cook half of the chicken in skillet for about 2-3 minutes of each of the sides until the chickens color turn into a golden brown. After that transfer the chicken into a plate of tray and keep it warm so that it does not get cold. Then melt one tablespoon of butter and olive oil again.

3. Add broth and some Lemon juice to the surface of the skillet and then cook for about one to two minutes or until the hot sauce has well thickened slightly. Stir so as to loosen the particles from the bottom of the skillet. Add the 8 slices of lemon.

4. Then remove the skillet from heat; add parsley and the remaining tablespoon of butter and then stir continuously until the butter melts. Sprinkle sauce over the entire chicken, then serve as desired.
